Business Team Launch
In June, the Character Council launched a new Business Team to lead the organization’s efforts to provide character-based resources to the regional business community.
Team members include Jan Powell, retired Senior Finance Manager of GE Aerospace, Taffi Hutchings, founder of the Lincoln Heights Historical Society and Office Manager of the Cincinnati Musicians Association, as well as Jill Tomey and Mary Andres Russell, long-time fixtures at the Character Council.
Since its inception in 2000, the Character Council has engaged local businesses through the “Business of Character” process, designed to help leaders, teams, and organizations strengthen workplace culture through character-based leadership, practical discussion tools, and professional development training and workshop opportunities. Our workplace resources encourage collaboration, responsibility, respect, wisdom, and other qualities that build trust and support healthy, productive teams.
This newly formed team will enhance and strengthen current resources and training and develop new resources including an on-demand virtual training platform.
