Celebrate Someone Who Leads with Character

Nominations Deadline: Monday, December 7, 2026, at midnight. No late entries will be accepted. 

The Character Council of Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana, in collaboration with Hamilton’s City of Character, is seeking nominations for individuals and students throughout the Tri-State area who demonstrate outstanding character qualities in their everyday lives.

Any teacher, adult friend, coach, support staff member, administrator, etc. may nominate a Hero using the form below. So we can learn more about your nominee, please describe actual examples of how the individual's behaviors and dispositions show character qualities in action. Immediate family members should not be nominators.

Heroes will be selected based on the information provided on this form. Additional documents may be included (news, stories, etc.). A list of all character qualities and their definitions can be found here. Nominators are encouraged to get permission from the nominee prior to submitting the application form.

Selected honorees will be recognized at the 2027 Heroes of Character Celebration on Tuesday, April 13, 2027, at the Delta Marriott in Sharonville, Ohio.

Our past Heroes of Character represent a wide range of ages, backgrounds, schools, workplaces, and communities, but they share one thing in common: they put positive character qualities into action in meaningful and inspiring ways.
