Greater Cincinnati Educators Focus on Character

Who:
Over 150 educators from Greater Cincinnati's public and private schools

What:
How to Create a Culture of Character seminar featuring E. C. Gaffney, Jr., Ph.D., president of Essentials for Life in Denver, Colorado.

Dr. Gaffney's personal experiences, as well as his degrees in education and counseling, make him one of the country's foremost experts in character training. Areas of discussion will include:

  • The language of good character
  • Implementation of character education in the classroom
  • Behavior modification by praising character in addition to achievement

This interactive seminar is part of the "Cities of Character" initiative and comes at a very important time for our city. The five-hour training session will provide valuable tools to area educators, who play integral roles in impacting the youth of our community.
