GRACE CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

A Model "Church of Character"

November 21, 2001

Grace Christian Fellowship is an independent church of approximately 40 parishioners spanning all ages. Doctrinally it is apostolic and charismatic. The congregation is predominately Afro-American and located in predominately Afro-American Avondale, a neighborhood of Cincinnati with large stately homes now mostly redesigned into multi-family dwellings. Founded nine years ago by Dr. Daryl Brock, the Fellowship is currently constructing its first church building in a nearby location. The church is pastored by bi-vocational co-pastors Dr. Daryl and Mrs. Gayle Brock.

Congregational services include Sunday morning Sunday School for all ages, Sunday morning worship service, and a Thursday evening Bible study for all ages.

Examples of outreach to the community include the Strike Force Karate program targeted to at-risk youth where police officers mentor and fellowship with youth while they learn the art of Karate and develop trust together, and a youth program Y.E.S (Youth Evolving Spiritually) which challenges youth with community awareness projects and spiritual enrichment.
