Kentucky Schools of Character Awards Program

The Character Council, in partnership with the Character Education Partnership (CEP), offers the annual Kentucky State Schools of Character (SSOC) awards to schools and districts with outstanding character education initiatives. SSOC will serve as models for other educators within our state just as they are in over 30 other states. The application process is the same as CEP’s National Schools of Character (NSOC) awards program. State nominees can move to the national competition. Learn more about applying for the SSOC/NSOC awards by downloading the SSOC application. Or go to www.character.org/nsoc for details.

FREE Educator Bulletin and Activity Pages

Each month, the Character Council provides a free email bulletin for educators which promote methods and creative activities for integrating the character quality of the month into school curriculum. The emails also include announcements of Character Council events. Click here to be added to the list.
