FELLOWSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH

A Model "Church of Character"

November 21, 2001

Fellowship Baptist Church is located in Panama City, Florida. It was founded approximately 25 years ago and today has approximately 125 parishioners. Participants are white, span all ages, and have employment arrangements from professional to hourly employees. Panama City is an integrated, predominately blue-collar community with college, two military bases, and large seasonal tourist population. Paid staff includes bi-vocational Pastor Larry DeMoss and a music/youth minister.

Champions of the character initiative are Bob and Trisha Hicks.

Congregational services include a Sunday morning worship service, Sunday School for all ages, and evening services on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Outreach to the community includes its monthly visitation to church visitors and prospective visitors. Outreach also includes the AWANA program, an activities and spiritual outreach to youth of diverse ages.
